Scholarships

Our scholarship objective is to encourage Baldwin County residents pursuing a plant-related career, such as horticulture, farming, forestry, landscape architecture, bioengineering, gardening, extension agent, nursery operations, etc. To be eligible, students must be Baldwin County residents and plan to enroll or attend undergraduate college majoring in plant-based or related studies as a full-time student.

The Baldwin County Master Gardeners, Inc., a 5O1(c)3 non-profit corporation, awards scholarships of varying and limited amounts on an annual basis entirely at the discretion of its Scholarship Committee. Our BCMG, Inc. finances can vary significantly from year to year, and those variations in our financial health affect the number and dollar amount of scholarships available. Nevertheless, scholarships are essential to our educational mission as Master Gardeners and as a non-profit organization.
