Why This Sale Matters

The Fall Plant Sale is one of the largest annual fundraisers for the Baldwin County Master Gardeners. Proceeds from the sale help fund educational and community-based initiatives that support gardening, environmental stewardship, and horticultural outreach throughout Baldwin County. Learn more about these efforts on our Projects page.

Proceeds help support:

  • Master Gardener scholarships
  • Community gardening and educational projects
  • Public horticulture education and outreach programs
  • Environmental stewardship initiatives

Proceeds from the plant sale also help support the development of a future Baldwin County Master Gardeners greenhouse facility. This planned facility will allow the organization to expand plant production, strengthen volunteer training opportunities, and broaden educational programming for the community.

Trusted Plants & Responsible Practices

The Baldwin County Master Gardeners operate with proper plant resale licensing through the Alabama Department of Agriculture and Industries. Plants offered at the sale are grown by trained Master Gardener volunteers or sourced from reputable regional growers to help ensure quality and suitability for Gulf Coast growing conditions.

The Baldwin County Master Gardener program is affiliated with the Alabama Cooperative Extension System and Auburn University. Gardening information shared with the public is grounded in research-based horticultural guidance and educational best practices.
